The grand ceremony of BASIS National ICT Awards 2019 took place at Radisson Blu Water Garden yesterday. Learnerscafe, an online IT training platform, one of the initiatives taken by Babylon Resources Ltd have won this champions trophy in Inclusion and Community Services (HC-ICS)- Indigenous Services category.
Learnerscafe is a promising online training platform which will help everyone to develop IT skills for accomplishing one’s personal and professional goals. Its prime courses are Graphic Design, Software Development, IT and System Support, 2D and 3D Design, Digital Marketing etc. Country’s best IT mentors are with Learnerscafe and they will provide the guideline.
Team Learnerscafe was very much overwhelmed and proud for winning this champions trophy. Learnerscafe basically took everybody’s attention for its ongoing project named ‘Adommo 21 Hazar’ because it goes forward with a wonderful aim to create 21 thousand skilled human resources by giving them tree online IT training. Learnerscafe officially launched this project on 21st February 2019 and it will be ended on 21st February 2025.
Liakat Hossain, the CEO of Babylon Resources Ltd. cordially thanked the Judges and organizers of this event and told that, “we carry forward our journey for the betterment of our ICT industry. Now we are living in the era of digitalization and demographic dividend so that we have to contribute in this ICT sector by creating a handsome skillful human resources. Without doing this it is impossible to create history or revolution in this sector.”
This year 1,175 projects have vied for the BASIS National ICT Awards 2019 powered by IPDC Finance Limited, organizers said. In 35 categories, 105 nominees were awarded at the ceremony and the champions were also being nominated for the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA), which will be held in Ha Long Bay in Vietnam in November.
At the Award ceremony, Dr Hasan Mahmud, Minister for Information will be present as chief guest. Besides, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for ICT Division, Farhad Hossain, State Minister for Public Administration, Sharif Ahmed, State Minister for Social Welfare were the special guests.
